From personal experience of George Paschal, Fort Pierce, FL, USA Headlight bulb = Headlamp A clip has a tab-in-slot type on its front and a squeeze type on its rear and can be removed from the front side and/or the rear side. Spread cloth or cardboard under car to catch parts that fall. Re-assembly just might be difficult if you are missing a clip or screw from 1986. Remove front grill clips, and remove front grill. Make sure you do not lose the three or four clips {each clip has more than one part to it). Remove four headlight housing clips of dead headlamp, and by turning headlight housing appropriately, maneuver it out into the space vacated by the front grill, and remove it. Make sure you do not lose the clips {each clip has more than one part to it). Remove four screws of thin metal headlamp frame, and remove frame. Headlamp may fall out then, so pull it out enough to detach 3-prong plug on the back of the bulb. Plug new headlamp into socket. Turn on headlight switch to test new headlamp. Assuming test was successful, hold headlamp in place and install thin metal headlamp frame and the four screws. Re-assemble/install clips into headlight housing, maneuver the housing back into place, align rear of clips with holes in framework and install by pushing headlight housing into place. You will hear the clips snap into place. Re-assemble/install clips into front grill, align rear of clips with holes in framework and install by pushing grill into place. You will hear the clips snap into place. Good luck!
