One can connect and setup ones Freeview Digi Box by plugging the aerial lead into the aerial socket which is located on the Freeview Box and by plugging the power cord in to the plug.
Your freeview box should connect to the TV Ariel on the top of your house. The Sky + cables connect to the Sky dish on the side of your house and will not work with your freeview box. If you have Sky there is nothing on freeview that you can not already get on Sky (even if you do not have a sky card).
There is no way to connect these two without spending around £60 on an adapter. It would be cheaper to buy a Freeview HD box, then connect this to the screen with HDMI.
You have to "loop through" the aerial. That is - you plug the aerial directly into the Freeview box and then use a short link cable to connect the Freeview box to the tv aerial socket. Most Freeview boxes come with this short lead in the carton. It's easy and obvious how to do this (when you see the equipment) and it enables you to watch existing analogue transmissions until they're finally switched off.
Can I issue a warning? My DV940B blew up last night, it was in 'standby' mode and went 'bang' with smoke coming through the top vents. I would advise anyone with this model to turn off the power at the mains switch to this device when you are not using it.
"A Ski Digi box is used with the Sky system.

You don't need anything extra - just connect them in this order... Freeview box - DVD recorder - TV. The signal will be recorded by the DVD recorder before it gets to the TV
No, a normal Freeview digibox does not provide on-demand services. Freeview is primarily designed for live television broadcasting, and while it offers access to various channels, it does not support streaming or on-demand content. However, some Freeview-compatible devices, like Smart TVs or set-top boxes with internet connectivity, may offer on-demand services through additional apps or features.
You can purchase a Freeview HD box on Amazon. You can also find them at Argos, ASDA, and Comet.
Depends where you get it from can be around $200 for the box
its easy only need to do is just get you PC but make sure it has a captured card that will be use for recording...
In the UK most set top boxes are used for Freeview, the digital television terrestrial service. Set top boxes also include cable and satellite receivers so s set top box may not be a Freeview box. In the US, digital set top boxes do a similar job but as Freeview is a British service, they won't be Freeview boxes.
