Connect your recording device to the preamp output on the back.
to mono if your amp will allow, also this is for single voice coil. otherwise run in mono parallel to run dual voice coils.
To record a guitar amp effectively, use a good quality microphone positioned close to the amp speaker, experiment with microphone placement for different tones, adjust the amp settings to achieve desired sound, and use a recording interface to capture the audio into a computer or recording device.
If you want to run both coils, you have to wire the positive to positive and negative to negative on your sub, then run a wire from each plug to the amp. Positive to the positive side of the amp and negative to negative side of the amp,(you can run in bridge mode or stereo if your amp can handle the load)
its better to get one amp for you sub then 2 because your going to have to spend more money with wiring and stuff. But if you really wanna do it you have to wire one voice coil to the other one and same for the other amp but if you have one voice coil you have to split the wiring into 2 neg and 2 pos then wire upto amp. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
First you need a Phonograph. Phonographs (record players) can be connected to a stereo or A/V surround receiver using a pair of standard red/white stereo audio cables. The important thing to understand is that many record players do not amplify the signal, which means you need a pre-amp or "phono amp" somewhere in the mix to get your sound. Check to see if your record player has a built in pre-amp. If not, your A/V receiver needs a dedicated phono input with a built in pre-amp.
I use Fruity Loops Studio, with amplitube 3 as my amp software.
To connect a dual voice coil subwoofer to a mono amplifier, the best method is to wire the voice coils in parallel if the amplifier supports the resulting impedance. This configuration will lower the overall impedance, allowing the amp to deliver more power to the subwoofer. If the amp cannot handle the lower impedance, you can wire the coils in series, which will increase the impedance but reduce the power output. Always check the specifications of both the subwoofer and amplifier to ensure compatibility.
need more info but I'll give it a shot and hope i answer your question. You will need one of the following to get your desired ohm load: 1- single voice coil at 1 ohms 2 - single voice coil at 2 ohms wired + to +, - to - 2 - dual voice coil at 4 ohm all wired + to +, - to - so that you only have 2 wires conected to the amp. hope this helps.
You can connect your guitar amp to your computer for recording by using an audio interface. Simply plug your guitar into the amp, connect the amp's output to the audio interface input, and then connect the audio interface to your computer via USB. This allows you to record your guitar playing directly onto your computer for editing and playback.
To learn how to record a guitar amp effectively, you can start by positioning the microphone close to the amp's speaker cone for a clear sound. Experiment with different mic placements and angles to find the best tone. Use high-quality microphones and audio interfaces for better recording quality. Additionally, consider using a room with good acoustics and minimal background noise for optimal results. Practice and experimentation are key to mastering the art of recording a guitar amp effectively.
Two four ohm speakers in parallel is two ohms. Make sure the amp is rated for that load impedance, or you could damage it.
My electirc guitar sound really muffled on Audacity as well miking the amp.
