If you do not have the remote code that is required to program your remote to work with your Sanyo, then you can perform a power scan. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button (In this case the mode button will be "TV") until all the other mode button backlights illuminate, then release.
1. Press and release the Power button.
2. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment.
Note: If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
3. Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
After completing the power scan to program the DISH Network remote to your T.V the remote should now work to control your TV.
what station does the t v need to be on for dish remote to work
No, the dish network remote only has those codes. If you want to control everything, get a Logitech Harmony remote.
Try these remote codes: 743, 744, 745, 757. If these do not work, call Dish Network they will be happy to assist you.
I had a similar problem and used the code for the Sanyo FXWK. The two remotes seem similar and the codes for that worked on my FXWJ remote. You can find the codes here: http://remotes.com/store/codes_original.html . Hope this helps.
You can program your DISH remote to work on your TV and other electronic components but unless you have codes or instructions on how to a universal remote to the receiver, we don't have codes specifically to operate in that manner. I would contact the manufacturer of your remote.
Call the Dish Network to inquire about your remote and your new TV: 1 866 869-3109 Customer service can advise you and provide a new remote control if needed.
You can probably program your Comcast remote to work with it just fine.
Auria TVs use the same codes as NEC. If you lookup NEC in your remote control manual it should work. 10037 will work.
You can program your DISH remote to work on other electronic equipment. The gyration remote should have instructions on how to program it to other components. If you don't have the instructions, I would give the company a call to try and get the instructions.
The iPad does not have a infrared transmitter. You can use the Logitech Harmony Link to connect to your iPad and then control your Dish Network receiver.
One of these should work.... 1004, 1048, 1049, 1073, 1080, 1162, 1169, 1180.
The codes we here at DISH Network have & would use to attempt to program the DISH Network remote with your Olevia TV would be, 506 or 127.
