I take it that you have an iPod capable of showing the pics you want to transfer.
When you attach the iPod to your computer it will 'scinq' the music on the iPod and the music on your laptop PC. It will also recharge the iPod battery. The space you are not using for music can then be used as if it were an external hard disk i.e. drag and drop.
unless you have a some sort of software that allows you to take pic, you cant really take pic on a laptop
The iPod's software will probably need restoring. Apple have a trouble shooting guide (See links below) which may help sort out the problem.

if you want to take a pic of the screen press the on/off button an the top of your ipod and the home button (small round one on the front) at the same time on the page you want to take a pic of.
I do not think you can, but you can look up movies in limewire under mp4, or music, but some people say it is illegal 1. put the CD in your computer 2. take your ubs cord and hook it up to your iPod and hook that up to your computer 3. rip the songs off of your CD 4. go to albums somewhere in your computer menu 5. click on the album you just downloaded 6. click the pic. of your iPod 7. drag songs over to your playlists/ iPod songs 8. hit continue/ done This worked on my friends iPod i had to do it for her but every iPod is different
You go to the bit where there is a pic of your ipod. Then click on the tab which says music. Then tick sync music and it should sync it
you go onto that horses page and it should say 'actions' and then a pic of and apple.
Depending on how you got them on your ipod, if you took them with your ipod camera, there should be a little garbage can on each pic you took WITH YOUR IPOD. If you got them downloaded of of a computer, you have to plug your ipod into the computer and delete them off of itunes. Hope i helped!! :)
You have to follow the same process which is followed in PC or laptop. When you want to make any of your uploaded pictures as your DP, Facebook recommends for the crop.
The 4th generation will. As of now, the only iPod with a camera is the iPod Nano. I know this because i was a beta tester for Apple, and i had a prototype for about three months. The one I had shot both pictures, and video... too bad my friend lost it at the CMA awards in 2009. :,( Currently, both iPod 4th Generation and iPod 5th Generation have a camera. Both iPods have a front and back cam for FaceTime and forward facing photos.
