Safest tow is renting a tow bar from u-haul etc. You can buy a strap at the auto parts store. However, be prepared for bumps to bumpers, broken headlights, tail lights etc. if you're not experienced. Put vehicle in neutral, key on for power brakes which if you use will jerk the vehicle towing you. Put signs on vehicle indicating "In Tow" so others can be wary of you. Very stressful to not damage the vehicle pulling when slowing down or making turns or emergency maneuvers. Tow bar will maintain safe distance. Mary
Buy a tow bar. Install the tow bar cleats to the front bumper of the Jeep. Attach the tow bar with the removable pins and then connect the ball connector to the ball hitch of the towing vehicle. Run safety chains from the tow bar to the hitch loops of the towing vehicle. Make sure you lock the ball connection with either a nut & bolt OR a padlock. Put the Jeep in 3rd gear, make sure the hubs are NOT locked. Put the key in the ignition and unlock the steering wheel. Drive slowly, try to stay on streets and don't do too much highway driving. If towing at night, it's a good idea to use trailer lights - in some states you need trailer lights any time you tow - day or night. Good luck.
To tow a 2001 Daewoo Lanos behind an RV, you should use a tow bar or a car dolly. If using a tow bar, ensure the transmission is in neutral, and the ignition key is turned to the accessory position to unlock the steering wheel. If using a car dolly, the front wheels of the Lanos should be on the dolly while the rear wheels remain on the ground. Always consult your owner’s manual for specific towing recommendations and weight limits.
