Plug it in the USB slot. Don't force it. Use a USB Extender if possible. There are two usb slots Under the green power light and one in the back. Depending on what files you have on it, the xbox will be able to use them.(music and photos.) You will not be able to save data to the drive from the xbox.
You can use any USB Storage Device (such as a thumb drive or an external hard drive) to store games, saves, Gamertags, or media on. But, it is better to use the Official Xbox Thumb drive or the Xbox Hard Drive as they are both designed for use with the Xbox 360.
To fix write protection on an Xbox 360 thumb drive, first ensure the physical write protection switch (if present) is set to the "off" position. Next, connect the thumb drive to your computer, and use the Disk Management tool to check if it’s marked as read-only. If so, you can use Command Prompt to remove the write protection by typing "diskpart," selecting the drive, and entering "attributes disk clear readonly." Finally, safely eject the thumb drive and reconnect it to the Xbox 360.
You can't transfer files on xbox 360 using a usb thumb drive, but you can if you buy a xbox 360 memory card
No but you can use a regular thumb drive
You don't really use it. you use the thumb drive to use the computer to find the thumb drive type in the question Where is the thumb drive. then once you do use the thumb drive the computer really isn't of use to you anymore so move on to the next step?
No. You can buy a hard drive for a Xbox. You can play music from a thumb drive though.
Depends on what type of thumb drive they get.
