my beats by Dr Dre have started to do this. i think it has something to do with the drivers. so yeah theyre faulty/ broke

The Bose Qc15 have more NATURAL bass. The Beats have LOUDER bass. It all depends on which one you want. Neither of them are considered 'Studio Monitor' headphones. For that, look for headphones from AKG, Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, Shure, Fostex or KRK.
