On the upper black panel, left of your name settings and Dashboards button you have a button that looks like control panel switches. click there and there are the options to choose a theme, or make your own.
Look under your power settings in the control panel. There are options there for "What to do when I press the power button", "What to do when I press the sleep button" and "What to do when I close the lid".

Click the Start button. It is on the lower left of the bar at the bottom of the screen. It is round and usually blue.Click 'Control Panel' on the menu that pops up, this is where the computer settings are.
On Windows you would first open your start menu. From there you will open your control panel and find the button on the first page called "System". After selecting that find the button called "Restore" and click that. You will then be able to preform a system restore. If it does not work make sure you are logged in as admin or your user account has local admin privileges.
