loose component connections
Composite Video connections are unable to transmit a HD signal. They are on HDTV's for the purpose of connecting older sources, think VCR, that do not have the newer connections like HDMI or component cables.
Component connections transmit video signals as separate red, green, and blue signals, resulting in higher image quality compared to S-video connections, which combine all signals into one. Component connections offer better color accuracy and sharpness, while S-video connections may have slightly lower image quality due to signal compression.
No, you can do it the other way around, though.
Some shops that sell vga component cables are Target, Best Buy and Sears. Also, online shops like Amazon or ebay would sell vga component cables as well.
Component video is carried on three wires, normally referred to as YUV or Y, Pb, Pr. The Y component carries the luminance information - the brightness. The other two carry color information. Connecting a component signal to a composite input will be difficult as composite uses a single connector that carries brightness and color signals on the same wire. If you connect the Y of the component signal to the composite input, you will see a monochrome image. With a very, very few exceptions, analog component video is limited to standard resolution, so the highest will be 480 line (North American) or 576 line (European). Composite connections handle only standard definition and there is no composite standard for HD video.
HDMI cables are for HD, if you're looking for good quality. Otherwise you can use component or compsite (lease preferred). You install them simply by plugging them into the color coded ports on the back of your television
well yes they are completely different cables, and the hdmi cable only has one cable to connect were for the component cables you have to plug in 5 different cables, but as far as quality i would say they are the same
With component cables only the red and white are for sound and the other 3 are for video.
Websites such as eBay, Gamespot, and Amazon have a selection of PS2 component cables for sale. Futureshop box stores should also have PS2 component cables.
Blue cables designate one of the three wires for a component video cable connection. Along with the Red and Green wires, these three form a component video cable.
all TVs connect the same by matching the 3 RCA color coded plugs into the TVs inputs unless you purchase optional PS3 component connection cables or HDMI cables
