The Xenyx 1622FX comes with an external USB audio interface that connects via RCA cables to the mixer's tape in/out jacks. The mix recorded to the computer will be a stereo stream of the main mix output, so all the instruments will be combined together. Beheringer does not (yet) sell a mixer with multi-channel USB or Firewire audio output.
A form of a recording instrument is a microphone. The microphone is used to record vocals over different tracks and beats.
To import the music you will need some form of audio interface that can connect the outputs of the recording device to the inputs (either USB or FireWire) of the computer (See links below) . If the tracks contain individual instruments/vocals they can be recorded into software (such as Garageband) as individual tracks for editing/mixing.
You can get instrumental recordings, or ask the studio if they have them. Many vocalists do not play their own instruments.
In the recording process tracks usually consist of instruments or vocals. So if you are recording a guitar and a bass, you will have a track for the guitar and a track for the bass. On each track you have control of the processing. So you can add reverb to the guitar, but it wont effect the bass because it's on a different track. For something like a drum set you may have many tracks making up that drum set. The snare, kick, tom, etc are all on individual tracks. Those tracks can be individually processed, and grouped as one track that controls everything as a whole. Outside of the recording process a track is usually a song, such as track 1 from a cd.
A stereo track is a track which has separate infomation for both the left and right speakers. Most recording programs let you create new audio tracks in either format. Use mono tracks for single instruments like voice or guitar, but stereo tracks for instruments that have stereo outputs, like keyboards, electronic drums and samplers.
You can create backing tracks for your music by using software or instruments to record different parts of the music separately, such as drums, bass, and other instruments. This process allows you to layer the different parts together to create a full backing track for your music.
There is no program that can take a commercial mixed recording and separate out the individual vocal parts or instruments. Most remixes you hear started out with the studio source tapes with individual vocals or instruments on different tracks, making it easy to cut out and re-arrange the parts of the song.
You can use guitar computer software to enhance your music production skills by practicing playing the guitar virtually, experimenting with different sounds and effects, and recording and editing your guitar tracks to create professional-sounding music.
No, you will need the individual tracks of the recording from the artist in order to bleep the words out without affecting the rest of the instruments.
Anvil Studio is a free music recording and composing software for Windows. It allows users to create, record, edit, and mix MIDI music tracks, as well as import and export different audio formats. It also includes features such as a piano roll editor and a variety of virtual instruments.
To create high-quality backing tracks for your music, you can use software and instruments to record different layers of music that complement your main vocals or melody. This process, known as "making backing tracks," involves arranging and mixing various elements like drums, bass, and other instruments to enhance your music. Experiment with different sounds and effects to create a professional and polished backing track that elevates your overall sound.
Logic Studio can import many types of audio files. It is not possible with any of these programs to remove instruments from the recording or completely isolate any of the original tracks, including the vocals.
