If you are trying to take the music that you have in itunes with you to the new computer then there is a utility that will allow you to backup your music and any playlists that you have in your current itunes. To do this go to File, then Library, then Back up to disc. Once you install itunes on your new computer you can insert the discs you created and it will restore all the music and settings you had on your previous computer.
If you get an iTunes error that says -42110, you should go into your iTunes folder and either delete or rename your SC Info folder. The error message usually happens after transferring your iTunes library from one computer to another.
It's because you are either trying to transfer your phone from a previous ITunes account or a different computer.
Yes it is possible to do it without using iTunes. Look up in your favored search engine for a program called SharePod. This is a stand alone program, involving nothing to do with the resource hogging apple software. I use it myself, so i can tell you from personal experience.. it is worth trying.
usb memory stick if you are trying to put songs on a computer through and ipod or iphone it wont work You can also try to transfer the entire library manually, or using a software. Both ways are explained in the Kioskea FAQ.
the computer you are trying to sync it to may have a different version of itunes than you have. for example the newer ipods wont sync to aything but the newest version of itunes that was out when it was released or any new version that have been released since.
I think you can. Absolutely you can. Its easy if you have Itunes installed on your PC. However if your trying to watch a movie off your pod on a PC where you are not allowed to install Itunes for whatever reason, then I have not yet found a way around it.
There's another answer that says this: "Go to your friend who has the same OS as you. Copy the file he downloaded onto a USB with over 200 megs of space. Copy the file into your computer. Run the file." Otherwise, there is no possible way to access it. If you're a kid on the community computer, ask a parent if they will install it. I've looked for several ways to use it without downloading it, and there aren't any. So if you're trying to update to the iOS (7.0.3 as of now) and you need iTunes, you're out of luck. Your phone won't come off update screen telling you that you NEED iTunes to get the update.
Calm down, try this if you have another pc/mac plug it in there and try to restore it w/ itunes
You can sync music to it with any linux application. Ubuntu is free to download, and you can install it right alongside your current OS. If you are running Mac OS X, then i don't know if you can do that. If you are trying to sync apps without iTunes, try libmobiledevice on Ubuntu (just google it).
First make sure you have iTunes and an iTunes account. To get iTunes, go to apple.com/itunes, download and install this. Then create an account. With your iPod you should have got a white cord that connects from your iPod to the usb port in your computer. Connect these two. It should tell your computer you're trying to connect to iTunes, if it doesn't find iTunes on your desktop or in your start menu>programs (considering you're working on Windows). It should pull up for you to sign in, then register your iPod through your iTunes which is a step by step process on the iTunes. And you should be connected.
itunes is an apple/mac application. make sure you downloaded the Microsoft version.
