I don't think she did like hiding from my research. She says that she got into "arguments" with her roommate Fritz, but they weren't real arguments because they had to be VERY quiet. She lacked a real friend and always wanted to go outside. The only time she ever could leave the annex was in the middle of the night when she would go out onto the floor outside the bookcase and do Ballet in the dark.
