Curley tries acting tough around them both and makes Lennie feel scared when Curley approaches him with his tough demeanour. Candy also tells George that Curley doesn't like big men and is handy with his fists, so he sounds like someone that will start a fight.
When Lennie does not want to talk to Curley's wife she begins to feel like everyone around her wants nothing to do with her including Curley himself. She also does not understand why nobody wants to talk to her so she asks what the problem is with someone trying to get a little attention, as well what the problem is with her trying to make conversation.
The reason Lennie is been over powered by Curley is because Curley as a man is able but he feels jelous-he has an abnomality which makes him permentaly short,so he feels jealous to see Lennie who is taller/bigger than him, this is why he wants"sock" ..
Curley didn't like Lennie primarily because of his size and strength, which made him feel threatened and insecure. Additionally, Curley's fragile ego was wounded by Lennie's unintentional defiance and lack of fear towards him. This led to Curley frequently targeting Lennie to assert his dominance and boost his own self-esteem.
Curley did not like Lennie because he was big and strong, which made Curley feel insecure about his own size and masculinity. Additionally, Curley may have been jealous of the attention his wife gave to Lennie.
The book didn't necessarily state that Curley hated Lennie; however, as slim said in the beginning, Curley is like a "bunch of small people piled up". Since Lennie is known as the "big" (size) character in the story, Curley obviously wanted to beat him up. One of the other reasons could also be his mental disorder (Lennie).
Lennie kills Curley's wife by accidentally breaking her neck while trying to calm her down after she panics and screams. Lennie, who does not know his own strength, becomes scared and tries to quiet her but ends up causing her death. His actions are unintentional and driven by his inability to control his strength and emotional reactions.
Lennie is facinated because he finds her pretty, but frightened because George and Candy said that she is trouble because she is curleys wife.soory if my answer is a little middle school like =p
It's likely that Walter feels a certain way about George due to past experiences, personal differences, or conflicts. Emotions are often shaped by interactions and perceptions, and these factors can contribute to Walter's feelings towards George.
You can say that George will no Longer feel the burden of having to worry about Lennie and the responsibilities that came along with Lennie.
1. Lenny tears a woman's dress. She then runs off screaming that he was violating her.2. George and Lenny then run to their hiding spot in the woods to escape the police that would hang Lenny for rape if they caught him.3. Lenny accidently kills his "pet" mouse by petting it too hard.4. Lenny and George then run away to a farm where they are hired as farm hands because George is smart and capable and Lenny is very strong.5. Lenny and Curley get into a fight and Lenny breaks Curleys hand.6. Curley's wife shows Lenny some new puppies. Lenny accidentally kills the puppies because he is so strong but menatally challenged and clumsy.7. Curley's wife talks about how she could have been a movie star if she had wanted to and talked about how fine her hair felt.8. Curley's wife then lets Lenny feel her hair. Lenny then won't let go of it. Curley's wife then freaks out and in an attempt to quiet her down, Lenny accidentially breaks Curley's wife's neck and kills her.9. Everyone on the farm realizes that it was Lenny that killed Curley's wife, so Lenny and George had run off back to their hiding place in the woods.10. George shoots Lenny in the back of the head because he is tired off running away from the problems that Lenny has been causing.
Curley reacts to Lennie's silence negatively and try's to pick a fight with him. Curley probably figures that Lennie is silent that he is shy and dose not do well in fights. Since Curley is small and insecure, he figures he could take on the silent big guy and make him feel better about himself. This reveals that Curley is nothing more then a little bully.
George feels that it is his responsibility to care for Lennie because he couldn't survive by himself, but he also feels like Lennie is holding him back.
