The amount an author gets paid for movie rights to their novel can vary widely based on factors such as the popularity of the book, negotiations with the film studio, and whether the author retains any creative control. It could range from a few thousand dollars to several million dollars.
The book and the movie are quite similar but the director made a few changes to shorten the film. All inall, they aren't much different.

As much as a novel
I love Johnny SO MUCH!!!!!! He is definitely my favorite, because he is so sweet natured and listens to everyone else.
The Hunger Games is a very great book. According to everybody else. In my opinion, I don't find it as amusing. I don't think such deaths and killing in every two chapters (or every minute in the movie) is as interesting. That is my opinion. Although the movie got a pretty high score, a movie will NEVER be as good as the novel. People may disagree to this, but I watched both the movie and the novel. The novel is way better. So my answer to this question?: It depends. I simply don't like it as much. A lot of people do, though. - Sang Joon Park ----------------------------------------------------------
Because the director of a movie cant go into so much detail as the author of a book does because that would be a very long movie.
Yes. it was the true story of childhood abuse as told by the author. It was, in fact, the author's childhood, though some parts of the story were added for symbolism. Reportedly, Fowler's actual childhood was much more intense and violent, but she dulled it down for the purpose of the novel. The characters are also based on real people, right down to the inn the family stayed at in the book. Opera knew Fowler and decided to play in the movie.
not much...the book is much better than the movie, and you'll only get the full picture by reading the book, so if you have to do a project on it don't slack off and just watch the movie or else you'll fail, trust me, i know!
