Actually, "To My Wife" by Oscar Wilde does not contain personification. Personification is a literary device where human traits are attributed to non-human entities. In this poem, Wilde expresses his love and admiration for his wife through direct address and emotional language, but does not give human qualities to non-human objects or concepts. Instead, the poem focuses on the personal and emotional connection between the speaker and his wife.

I dont understand that poem either but my teachers explained that he is explaining what a wife should be and do. Also he speaks in wuch vivid language because he wants his words to shine with God's glory and is basically asking God to guide his words, thoughts, and deeds. Hope i helped. sorry if im wrong.
