Robert Newton Peck has written six non-fiction works, three television specials, more than 100 poems, fifty-five novels, and 35 songs. His most famous work is perhaps his semi-autobiographical novel, A Day No Pigs Would Die, published in 1972. Other works include A Part of the Sky (1994), Cowboy Ghost (1999), and Soup for President (1978).
