Frankie Gadler played in a group that he formed with Steve Ferguson -- which performed in local clubs -- billed as Hoopy Ferguson and the Kentucky Wonders -- the band played two sets --opening with a country "theme" of tunes like Detroit City, I'm The Man and The Rolling Stones' Dead Flowers then Frankie would take center stage for Ain't it Alright, Hiddy - Ho and Flat Foot Fleezy. The band consisted of Walter Raider on pedal steel guitar, Alan Tepper on bass, Rich Coiro on drums and Larry Salzman on guitar. With Steve and Frankie on the same stage -- the joint was rocking!
