Anna (German, Italian, Czech, Swedish) means 'gracious'. Kate (Greek) for 'pure', and in (English) a short form of Katherine. Though I don't know what they would be put together.

What is your sisters keepers about?

The book and movie are about the same thing, just the endings are different. the movie: A young girl named kate has cancer. her parents want to find a perfect donor for her, but can't. They can't even donate. kate's brother can't either. So the doctor tells them that they could make sure that there is a perfect donor; they made the parents have a baby that they did all kinds of stuff to. The baby, Anna, became Kate's life line. Everything Kate needed they toke from Anna. The mom toke everything from Anna to save kate. Anna went through horrible things. When kate got sick again they needed a kidney for her. Anna sued her parents for rights to her own body. Kate gets so sick and really needs the kidney. Anna is thought of badly by her mother who thinks only of Kate. The family is being teared apart. When Anna is in court a secret comes out. Anna is sueing her parents because kate told her too. Kate didn't want to get the kidney, she was done with fighting cancer. In the end Kate dies. The book: it is different then the movie. The ending is that Anna dies before giving up the kidney. (I didn't read the book so I can't tell you much)
