According to Keye, environmental regulations have placed restrictions on logging practices to protect ecosystems and wildlife habitats. These regulations aim to promote sustainable forestry practices and reduce environmental impact, which can sometimes lead to increased costs and operational challenges for the logging industry.
no they should use forests far away like somewhere plentiful. maybe in Africa or something.alternate opinionYes, if the logging methods are sustainable and equipment that does not damage the forest floor is used. If those two conditions are met, the public would hardly know any logging was going on. In addition, sustainable logging methods are actually beneficial to a forest.
illegal logging
Continued environmental legislation has put the industry under tremendous supply pressures, although the effect on employment has been minimal compared to the logging, sawmill, and plywood industries.
logging is important in Brazil because logging is a primary industry over there because of its numerous forests

Logging has been an important part of Canada's economic history. It is still a major industry.
Logging is not the main cause of deforestation. The logging industry has re-planted more seedlings that have matured into adult size trees over the decades and creating MORE trees than the U.S. has ever had before. Another reason for deforestation is caused by arsonist and the environmental activist who have nothing better to do. Not to mention the illegals camping out in the forest and leaving camp fires smoldering and growing into a major forest fire. Think about it? If the logging industry were ONLY in the logging business to rape the forest year after year, decade after decade. Uhhh, don't ya think their logging business would become nonexistent and they would be OUT OF BUSINESS? Fact is, we have more trees today than we have ever had.
