Laura Elizabeth was born in the Big Woods of Wisconsin to Charles and Caroline Ingalls, a younger sister to Mary and an older sister to Carrie, who's real name was Caroline after her mother. One of Laura's siblings many do not know of is Grace, Laura's little sister. She was born, I think, in the Kansas territory, but I'm not sure on that. Laura lived a childhood of adventure. Her family was forever on the move West. From the time when Laura was approximately six to approximately fourteen, she traveled across the Western frontier from Wisconsin to De Smut, and saw all that lay in between. To find out more, I strongly suggest you read Laura's books, the Little House Series She can tell you best!
