Saige-Adele Hopa is a student at the Turakina Maori Girls' College in New Zealand. She and fellow classmate Shayna Paku-Rimene also are successful participants in a competition that was sponsored by Rangitikei Tourism. The two students used a handheld digital camera to film a college road trip through the Rangitikei District. Judges Hamish Johnson of Flying Saucer, Warren Jones of Reel Earth Eco Film Festival, and Brian Megaw of Rangitikei Tourism awarded first prize in their DVD challenge to Hopa and Paku-Rimene. So the two students also are recipients of a $1,000 check. The award ceremony was held in October 2009 at the Rangatira Golf Club, which is just north of Hunterville, Manawatu/Wanganui, New Zealand.
