A skean dhu is only worn as part of full Highland Dress which is only used on formal occasions like weddings or special functions. The rest of the time, people dress in the same way as any other Western country.
The weapons used were arrows, spears, and swords.

The Soviets had the Katyusha artillery rocket in use in large numbers during WWII which was a cheap but effective multiple launch rocket system which evolved from the BM-13 through the BM-30. Using the captured German A-4 technology which was based on the early published research of the early American rocket scientist Robert Goddard, the USSR made major strides in rocket development after WWII and the early Cold War. The result was a shocker to the West when Sputnik was launched. NATO used names beginning with the letter "S" to identify Soviet rockets and the progression was: Scunner (R-1), Sibling (R-2), Shyster (R-5), Scud A (R-!!), Sandal (R-12), Skean (R-14), and the Scud B (R-17). Their long range ballistic missles (LRBM) were the Sapwood, Saddler, Sasin, Scarp, Sego, Scrag, Savage, Scapegoat, Scamp, Scrooge, Spanker, Satan, Stiletto, Sinner, Saber, Scalpel, Sickle and the current Stone (SS-X-26).
