Karl Marx is the Main reason for Socialist and Communist governments existing today. He is probably responsible for many wars, revolutions, and quiet genocides. Karl Marx was lazy so he made a government where laziness is allowed.

Although I have not read a biography of Karl Marx and cannot say anything about so-called laziness, I see no indication of it. One only has to look at his body of writings to see that he was not at least intellectually lazy. And he could not have written such a volume of work while sleeping in.It is wrong to say Marx created a government that allows laziness. He did not create any type of government. He theorized that capitalism was an oppressive economic system and that this oppressive nature would ultimately destroy capitalism and evolve into socialism. From socialism, society would evolve into communism. Not one socialist or communist government on earth today is anything like Marx envisioned.Under true communism, Marx said there would not even be a government. The state would simply wither away and disappear. It is illogical to say that Marx created a government that permitted laziness, when under his vision of communism, there would not even be a government.Given the history of the so-called communist countries where the state controls the means of production, those countries tolerate far less laziness than do the capitalist countries. Many of the "communist" countries are so dictatorial that they have the power to force people to work, whereas most capitalist countries permit laziness if one is satisfied with living on public assistance.Marx said under communism each person would contribute according to his capacity and each person would take according to his need. Workers would be expected to work up to their capacity, not their personal standards of laziness.
