I would say there are a bunch of classic ones it all depends on what your definition of classic is- Emily Bronte,Sir Thomas Browne, Robert Browning,Elizabeth Barrett Browning,Edgar Allan Poe,Charles Dickens-those are just some of the 'classic' writers.
