Hannah Pick-Goslar, one of Anne Frank's closest friends, will speak at an Anti-Defamation League event 6:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, at the Camelback Inn, 5402 E. Lincoln Drive, Scottsdale. Pick-Goslar lived next door to the Frank family in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and was Frank's best friend from ages 4-13. She was one of the last people to see Frank alive. Frank died at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Pick-Goslar appears in "The Diary of Anne Frank" under the pseudonyms "Hannell" and "Lies." Her own story is the subject of Alison Leslie Gold's 1997 book, "Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend."
