In "The Dark Half" by Stephen King, foreshadowing is evident through the ominous presence of sparrows throughout the narrative, representing death and the supernatural. Additionally, the recurring theme of duality and the blurred lines between reality and fiction foretell the protagonist's descent into darkness and the blurred boundaries between good and evil. The character of George Stark serves as a foreboding figure, hinting at the protagonist's inner demons and the consequences of embracing one's darker side.

It's not his favorite, it's his fan favorite. He's fond of his dark tower series and bachman books that somehow caught popularity without his name on the cover page.
