There are seven novels called "Harry Potter". The first one is called "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" in the U.K. edition, and "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in the U.S. edition.

Each story is about a orphaned boy who was reluctantly took in by his magic hating aunt and uncle (Harry's mother's sister and her husband with their son who is roughly Harrys age). Harry lost his parents and home at the age of one.

Book 2; HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS.

Book 3; HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN.

Book 4; HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE.

Book 5; HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHEONIX.

Book 6; HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE.

Book 7; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Comic relief editions; QUIDDITCH THROUGH THE AGES and FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM.

Extra editions; THE TALES OF BEEDLE THE BARD.

MANY OTHER AUTHERS HAVE CREATED BOOKS ON THE SUBJECT OF HARRY POTTER BUT ONLY THOSE WROTE BY J.K.ROWLING CAN BE COUNTED UPON TO CONTAIN NOTHING FALSE TOWARDS THIS AMAZING WORLD!
