There are a few things; they are all UK authors who wrote (or write) fantasy novels for children. They are all generally known by their initials.
They are all British authors who wrote popular fantasy literature, with works such as the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis, and The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien.
J.K. Rowling has expressed admiration for several writers, including Jane Austen, E. Nesbit, and C.S. Lewis. She has also cited the influence of authors like J.R.R. Tolkien and Roald Dahl on her writing.

All four are well-known British authors who have made major contributions to fantasy literature. J.K. Rowling is the author of the Harry Potter series, E. Nesbit wrote influential children's fantasy books, C.S. Lewis is the creator of the Chronicles of Narnia, and J.R.R. Tolkien is famous for writing The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings series.
E. Nesbit, C.S. Lewis, adult writers as well
The name Lewis is derived from the Old English name Louis. There are some notable authors with this name. Lewis Carroll, for example, was the author of 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'.
C.S. Lewis, one of my personal favorite authors.
Wheaton College (in Wheaton, Illinois) displays the wardrobe that inspired C.S. Lewis, as well as documents pertaining to Lewis and six other British authors.
They're all from the U.K. and they all use initials in their pen names.

Sean Harris influenced JK Rowling to write. He was Ms. Rowling's friend while she was in her secondary school. He is, according to Rowling, very like Ron Weasley in Harry Potter. He was not her only influence. She was always passionate about books, probably because of her mother and father, who were both prolific readers. She wrote from a very early age, including one particular story about a rabbit called Rabbit. Her past experiences influenced her greatly. She had depression after her mother died, which had an impact on the way she thought about death. This features heavily in the Harry Potter series. CS Lewis ("simply a genius"), TH White. According to Rowling.
