Disrespect, like swear words, don't have to be taught. Most kids (unfortunately) seems amazingly capable of picking that up by themselves. Not that I have any idea why someone would want to teach their kids something like that.

Kids like to be very hands on and if you want them to learn to grow things or enjoy gardening then let them try in themselves. You should get them each a small pot and let them plant something and watch it grow.
