Terrific! WW II 1941-1945 Millions of Women forgot being housewives and went to work in the industry of building war weapons and factory supply lines. Women took on jobs vacated when the men enlisted to fight. Women workers now had an income but this was a new threat to the management of their marriages. Women had only got to vote in elections in in the mid 30's. Men didn't think women were capable of voting - nor much else. In world war II - the women quickly proved they can produce more than children and life has never been the same.
During World War II, many women entered the workforce to fill the roles left by men who were fighting in the war. This shift led to increased economic independence for women and opened up new job opportunities. Additionally, the war experience helped to advance the women's rights movement, leading to greater social and political recognition of women's contributions to society.
