Laura Ingalls Wilder's son, Rose Wilder Lane, lived from December 5, 1886 to October 30, 1968.
Laura died Feb 10, 1957, at the age of 90.
She became blind at Walnut Grove,Minnesota.
Laura merely says in the book "about two weeks".
She lived in so many that no one could count.
She lived between 1867-1957, during world war 2.

Laura lived in De Smet, South Dakota for the first part of her adult life. Together with husband Almanzo and daughter Rose, she then moved to Rocky Ridge Farm near Mansfield Missouri in 1894. There she continued to reside for the rest of her life.
The Ingalls family moved to South Dakota in 1879, and Laura mostly remained there until 1894, when she and her husband Almanzo moved to Mansfield, Missouri. They had lived briefly at Almanzo's parents home in Minnesota and then Florida for a year or two after a series of personal tragedies before returning to De Smet briefly during this period.
