Ibalon script refers to an ancient writing system used by the Bicolano people of the Philippines, particularly associated with the epic "Ibalon." This script is a form of the Baybayin, a pre-colonial script used for writing Tagalog and other Philippine languages. The Ibalon epic narrates the adventures of heroes and mythical creatures, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the Bicol region. Although the Ibalon script itself is not widely used today, it remains an important symbol of the area's historical and cultural identity.

Baltog was known as the first leader and warrior who settled and founded the land of Ibalon. He was responsible for establishing order and protecting the land from threats, paving the way for the civilization to flourish in the region.
The theme of Ibalon revolves around the bravery, heroism, and resilience of its mythical characters as they face and overcome various challenges and foes. It also touches on the preservation of culture and traditions, as well as the importance of unity and solidarity in times of adversity.
