Mushu.
in the Disney movie mulan, mushu actually was never sent by anyone, but the "great stone dragon" was. the faa ancestors told mushu to "wake up" the "great stone dragon" (which by the way was a statue). mushu ends up breaking the statue and when the head ancestor was calling for the "great stone dragon" mushu put the head on (which somehow was hollow) and pretended to be the the stone dragon. the ancestor believed it and told mushu/stone dragon to protect mulan.i guess you could say that the head ancestor indirectlytold mushu to go to mulan.
