Nina Simone sings "Feeling Good," which includes the lyrics "It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life" in the Doctor Who Confidential episode "Script to Screen."
When the Doctor is contacting the Sontarans and it comes up on the Tardis screen rose flashes up on the Tardis screen and then it flashes to the Doctors face
George Michael sings the song in the wrapup describing how the script gets to the screen, as discussed by the shows writers and production crew. I think the name of his album is "Songs from the Last Century". The actual episode of Dr. Who was called "The Girl in the Fireplace", and it was a story of Dr. Who meeting Madame de Pompadour of France. While I'm not a George Michael fan, I must admit that it sounded very good to hear him singing the song, even though we only got to hear part of the song.
no david tennant is not bisexual or even gay he is straight and is happy with his girlfriend Georgia Moffet (on screen daughter from the episode "the doctor's daughter")
TV Land Confidential - 2005 When Real Life and Screen Life Collide - 1.2 was released on: USA: 21 September 2005
The Eighth Doctor, played by Paul McGann, only appeared in one episode because he starred in the one-off Doctor Who television movie in 1996 before the series was revived in 2005. The movie was intended to serve as a backdoor pilot for a new series that did not materialize, leaving the Eighth Doctor with just that one on-screen portrayal in the original series.
I mean, Rose shows up when Donna asks her something. And in the episode they gas up the world with the car program. The doctor is talking to the aliens and Donna is looking at the screen. Then rose pops up saying doctor. Does Rose come back?
The Eighth Doctor regenerates in the 2013 short 'Night of the Doctor' special, between episode 13 of season 7, 'The Name of the Doctor', and the 50th anniversairy episode, 'Day of the Doctor'. He is killed in a spacecraft crash, but the Sisters of Karn briefly revive him and persuade him to modify his regeneration. So instead of directly becoming the 9th, he adopts a new persona, in between the two. The Seventh Doctors Regeneration WAS SEEN on screen, in the 1996 TV Movie (He clearly regenerates into the Eighth Doctor, played by Paul McGann). The Eighth Doctors Regeneration was NOT seen, and like the the original answer here says, it's widely believed that this transformation towards the end of The Time War. The Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) is surprised and amused by his apparant-new face during the first New-Series episode 'Rose' from 2005.
