Justice WargraveThe judge is the killer. He fakes his death with the help of the doctor. He was known as the "hanging judge", which, of course, is self-explanatory. At the end, Narracott is left with Vera and Lombard (who you discover is really Charles morley). The judge will leave behind a note revealing that its him.

P.S. This is the PC and Wii game ending. It's pretty much the same, but in the game, you actually speak with him after he leaves the note.
