Mary Wollstonecraft was bourn in Bournmouth, England in 1851 as the only daughter of Woolstonecraft Godwin who was a feminist and protector of women's rights and writer of many books including A Vindication Of The Rights Of Women. Her father was William Godwin, the novelist and political writer. Her parents believed in attachment of the hearts rather than in the institution of marriage. Also for this and for their writings, they were famous. Mary married the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley after his wife's death. The famous poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Lord Byron were her friends. She worked as editor of her husband's poems. Also her own Horror novel Frankenstein brought her immortal fame.
