Haruki Murakami wrote the novel "Dance, Dance, Dance." It is the sixth novel by this Japanese writer. He enjoyed writing this novel in particular because of the success of his prior novel, "Norwegian Wood." It served as a healing act and a way to settle down after experiencing unexpected fame following "Norwegian Wood" and it was translated into English by Alfred Birnbaum in the mid 1990's.
