Why are Naturalists important?

i feel i can answer this to some degree at least, as i have had a life-long interest in directly learning from Nature, through first-hand experiences in the natural world.

Studying Nature is a clearly defined process, whereby all natural things and events acquire real meaning, and with it, an appreciation of the natural environment and mankind's place in as caretaker.

Biodiversity is our most valuable natural resource and the key to the maintainance of the natural world. The diversity of lif-forms stabilizes the environment, a complexity that has been evolving for hundreds of millions of years.

It is the diversity of life-forms that has played the major role in creating the world that has created us.

Fighting with Nature rather than working with Nature is humanity's biggest blind-spot, as Earth is home for countless life-forms, and not soley ours to destroy.

So given the importance it warrents, studying Nature cultivates a nurturing attitude across the planet. The signs are everywhere, our survival sense is telling us there's something we need to know, be in touch with, to see, hear, understand, know, and apply to 'save' ourselves. This brings us into frienship with our true Nature, which is to love, share, enjoy, appreciate, revere and respect all life, thereby contributing positive energy to the health of the environment at large.

Why are naturalists importaint?

A Naturalist plays a vitally important role in society. Through having an awareness of Nature's laws, a Naturalist can bring to the awareness in others, a reminder, certain aspects of our life which can be brought to light again where we can apply so as to major-shift energy in our personal life, where good health and prosperity are the order of the day. we each find the purpose for why we are here on Earth and thrive being our Self, . Namaste,

Love Always
