Holden is happy because he feels a connection with the girl, who shows him genuine gratitude and politeness. This interaction contrasts with other superficial or insincere interactions he has had, making it a meaningful moment for him in a world he sees as phony. It gives him a sense of validation and connection.
"Your Majesty" will do nicely, thanks.
You just say ' I have to go ' 'thanks for your time ' 'nice meeting/seeing you ' stuff like that!!
well,if you wanna say it nicely tell them nicely say:i can handle this please dont get involved but thanks anyway and then if you were planning to be harsh say:back off, just stay out of it..............will you?
Well, I would politely say "No thanks" to the person who organized the event. And cancel everything and give it to someone else.

To politely ask someone to reply to your text, you can simply send a follow-up message saying something like, "Hey, just wanted to check in and see if you got my last message. No rush, just let me know when you have a chance to respond. Thanks!" This approach is respectful and considerate of the other person's time and schedule.
Farmers don't 'use' dogs; all of a farmer's crops are already herded up together nicely, thanks. Ranchers 'use' dogs, though.
That is what you reply to a "Thank you", and means something like: No reason to thank.
like this: ummm, no thanks. im too young, and im not someone who hangs around with disgusting sex wanting ppl like you. (just kidding. let them down nicely with the facts of how that can be dangerous.)
I saw this question after looking up the lyrics to "Comin' Thro' the Rye" and had to research the answer. According to wikipedia: "Holden decides to move out west; he relays these plans to his sister, who decides she wants to go with him. He refuses to take her, and when she becomes upset with him, he tells her that he will no longer go. Holden then takes Phoebe to the Central Park Zoo, where he watches with a bittersweet joy as she rides a carousel. He decides, while watching Phoebe, to go home and "face the music". At the close of the book, Holden chooses not to mention much about the present day, finding it inconsequential." It's interesting that the "present day" carousel image is much larger, more colorful (red), and more dynamic than the vague city background sketch. Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rye_catcher.jpg for a good first edition cover. Thanks!
Dont bother her about it. Just wait a while and then finally ask her really nicely brilliant but things are getting better but thanks
