Are you shure that is a wiring problem? IFS trucks have a thermal actuator, which engages the front differential. It goes bad in alot of IFS trucks. If your front driveshaft rotates while your in 4wd, but wheels turn like in 2wd. That your problem. Two ways of fixing the problem: 1) get a new 4wd actuator from the auto parts store or 2) log on to 4wheelparts.com find the Posi-Lok system for your truck. If your truck is a non-offroad, just use 4wd in bad weather and gravel/dirt roads number 1 is your best pick. If you offroad, work and/or depend on your 4wd, think about number 2.
