I have a 1993 silverado that was doing the same thing, and the problem turned out to be a bad regulator inside my brand new alternator. Ireplaced it and went ahead and replaced the battery, I haven't had the problem since! Hope this helps. Check the alternator. If the alternator is not generating enough electrical energy to run the car AND recharge the battery you'll always have a low battery. If that's not it try to find something that is being left on that's draining the battery.
When Walter Disney started drawing did people accept his creations?
No one knows who first started drawing. Forms of drawings in caves have been found that date back thousands of years.
Yes, the car can be started with the battery charger attached to the battery as a boost.I been doing that for years.
Might not be the battery ... something in the charging circuit (alternator, generator, voltage regulator, etc) could also be causing this "something's wrong" light to come on in the dashboard.
It sounds like the starter may be going bad. Take it to a shop and have them test and see if the starter is drawing more amps than it's suppose to. Be sure that the cables are tight at the battery. Corvettes are bad about getting a good ground. Clean and tighten all grounds.
Its probably not the battery, its more than likely the alternator that isn't keeping the charge, to check it turn your car on and the unplug the battery, if it stays on then its something else, but if it turns off then get a new alternator

The most probable cause is an alternator with an internal short in the windings. This would cause the lights to flutter as the current being delivered isn't steady. It could also be drawing on the battery even when the car is off. If you can, charge the battery with a charger for a few hours, then reach in and feel the alternator housing. If it's hot to the touch, and the car has't been running for a while, the alternator is drawing from the battery and should be replaced.
drawing started when cave people used to draw pictures to show what they were trying to say.
