If you are sure the tank is empty and the fuel gauge is reading half full, then there is something wrong with your fuel level sending unit located inside the tank on the driver's side of the vehicle. Probably the variable resistor.
well i own a izuzu kb 260 1998 and a 1994 on both of them its 70 litres to full from dead empty
Check the fuel pump float.
The fuel tank on a 1994 full size K15 blazer is 30 gallons.
Discovered fuel pump is running but there is no spark to the plugs. What now?
check your injection system (fuel filter, injectors).
There is no reset for the fuel gauge. The sending unit in the fuel tank has probably failed.
you could have a bad fuel injector if dirt gets into the injector it will stay open
sorry, have to say it, the full amount...umm, well around 40-44 liters
first and best thing to find out is if your running rich or not your fuel to air ratio might not be just right. check your oxygen sensor and do a full tune up.
IT IS LOCATED IN THE FEUL TANK.
YES!
To bleed air from the fuel system of an Isuzu 4JX1 diesel engine, first, ensure the fuel tank is full and the ignition is off. Locate the bleed screw on the fuel filter, usually found near the top. Use a wrench to loosen the screw and pump the primer bulb until fuel flows without air bubbles, then tighten the screw. Finally, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to ensure all air is expelled from the system.
