fuel gauge on my 99 buick centry custom stays at full , then drops to empty. Is there a fuse or relay that i can have my neighbor look at it
It's in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger's side. In the 1999 Buick Century Manual it's called the "rear compartment release" fuse. Well, on that year and model Buick, there is no "rear compartment release" fuse. There's a 7.5 amp back-up light fuse in it's place. There is two 7.5 amp fuses in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger's side; check both fuses if your unsure of it's exact location. One of them will be blown and it will be that one that controls the back-up lights. It took me a long time to figure this out.
