It Could Be A Bad Cataylic Converter. This sounds like a weak fuel pump which is the #1 problem with these cars. Have yours checked.
It could be something as simple as a fuel filter that needs to be replaced or a weak fuel pump.
IVE GONE 147 MILES PER HOUR I have a 95 ford probe gt, when I removed the stock muffler, catalytic converter, replaced my air filter box with a cold air intake I increased my horse power decently. I topped my probe gt at 151. . . It was nice.
Because it's a Ford.
The Fuel filter for a 94 Ford probe GT is located under the air filter assembly next to the driver side front wheel well
Alternator . check voltage
Were do I locate the fuel filter on a 1993 Ford probe 4 cylinder
:On my 1995 ford probe, i was told there isn't a oil filter for that year so just throw the filter away and change the gasket...there actually is a filter in the transmission but its internal and the trany would need to be taken apart to access it.
Inside the transmission.
put it in
inside the trans. not a job for amatuer
Which engine? 2.0L = 3.7 quarts with filter 2.5L = 4.2 quarts with filter
There is no such thing! Ford Probe 89-92 93-97 In 1998 they ceased to exist! Either way if you have a 2nd gen Ford Probe GT then you have a 2.5L 24V V6, the fuel filter is on the drivers side of the engine bay kinda tucked between the tranny and the fire wall (believe the bracket for the filter actually mounts to the top tranny mount).
