Uniroyal tire company is owned by Michelin Tires. Cooper is owned by no other company and makes tires for Avon, Dean, Mastercraft, Futura, Hercules, Arizonian, & Starfire. At one time they manufactured all Sears Guardsman tires. You will not go wrong with either brand of tire.
