Sure just tighten them up. If need be, just cut the ends, strip off a little insulation & crimp on new connectors, then reinstall.

Check all power wires to and from starter could be a bad fuze link at wire to starter good luck
Check all wires for loose or corroded fittings. A loose or corroded connection can work one day and not the next. My first guess would be the wire to the starter solenoid is loose.
Corroded battery cables, loose battery wires at the starter, water in fuel tank, clogged fuel filter
Before removing any wires, be sure to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Label all of the wires that go to the starter and then remove them. Take a photo if possible to avoid any confusion. The starter mounts with two bolts. Simply remove the bolts and wiggle the starter loose. Once it is loose remove the bolts and pull the starter away from the engine to remove it. Installation is the opposite of removal. Be sure to inspect the starter bushing and add a little bit of all purpose grease if necessary. Fastener torque for the mounting bolts is 21ft/lb.
Disconnect the battery. Loosen the wires to the starter and solenoid. Remove both bolts connecting the starter to the transmission bell housing. If the starter is stuck, tap it with a hammer until it's loose. If it still won't come out, look any obstructions.
First disconnect battery, the starter is in front of motor, disconnect the wires from the two posts ,remove small inspection cover under starter, one bolt is on front side of crossmember other is on backside.when starter is loose gravity will help then.
First remove the negative battery cable. Then take the wires off of the starter solonoid. Then take the bolts out of the starter and remove it. Sometimes you have to take the exhaust loose to get it out. If necessary, get a manual from aparts store. It will show you how.
The starter and solenoid could run hot and melt wires due to a high electrical resistance in the circuit, causing excessive current flow. This can be caused by corroded or loose connections, undersized wires, or a malfunctioning solenoid. It is important to diagnose and address the underlying issue to prevent further damage.
How do the starter wires go on a 95 sunfire2.2 engine
loose wires or bad starter
3 bolts on starter, pull ,remove wires from start insert new starter and reattach wires and bolt into transmission
