No, red and orange coolant are not the same; they are formulated with different chemical compositions and additives. Red coolant typically contains organic acid technology (OAT) and is designed for long-lasting protection, while orange coolant is often a hybrid organic acid technology (HOAT) that combines conventional and organic additives. Using the wrong coolant can lead to compatibility issues and potential damage to the engine. Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications for the correct coolant type.
Because they use an orange colored coolant in it.
Green, red, pink, orange, or blue.
5 year red or orange in color
Most likely Dex-cool. Check the color to see if it is orange. If it is green, then it's regular coolant.
If it is green then any ethylene glycol or universal coolant will work if it is red/pink/orange then use a universal coolant, the mopar HOAT coolant or Zerex G-05 coolant.
Chrysler uses their own special formula of coolant, which is actually a hybrid, that is cross between ethylene glycol based coolant(green) and the organic acid technology (orange) coolant, comonly known by the brand name Dex-cool. It is identifiable by it's distinct red color. Some may cofuse this with the orange Dex-cool, but it is not the same thing, and should not be mixed. In other words Chrysler coolant is unique, and you should only use coolant specifically made for Chrysler vehicles.
Red. Lisa says in an episode "I feel like I've been wearing this same red dress forever."
Mixing yellow and orange will not produce red because red is a primary color that cannot be created by mixing other colors. Yellow and red can be mixed to create orange, but yellow and orange will not yield red.
Orange and red makes ORANGE RED because it is kind of the same color and it will blend in. For more questions go to Yahoo Answers.Hope you get more information from there.Good Day.-Jeanisse Flabita
Your coolant is orange because the manufacture added orange dye to the coolant so it is easily recognized. Orange coolant is Organic Acid Technology (OAT) coolant and should not be mixed with Green coolant which is Inorganic Additive Technology (IAT) coolant. Yellow coolant is Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) coolant. IAT must be changed about every 2 years, but OAT and HOAT will last 10 years or 100,000 miles. Never mix these coolants together.
