With radio on press and hold mode button on the steering wheel controls. After a few seconds the word 'others' will appear on the screen. Press and hold mode again until 'curve 0' appears. Using your channel selection scroller, scroll until it reads 'curve 2'. Press and hold mode again until you see 'rear on'. Press and hold mode again and after a few secs the beeping will stop. (Applies to Scenics from 1999-2003).

How do I re set the radio code
The radio codes supplied in your radio are unique to your vehicle, there are 9999 possibilities, it will be necessary to get it from Renault, or it will be easier (and cheaper) to purchase a new radio.

To adjust the brightness of the radio clock display on the Renault Scenic, simply turn the wheel control adjuster that is next to the headlamp adjuster. This is located to the right of the steering column on the dash.

just got radio from scrap yard plugged it in it works fine but it wont stop beeping when you turn the radio up the beeping gets louder how do you stop it.

You can get the radio codes online - but you have to pay for it. You will need the radio serial number - the instructions are on the site. I got mine from instant radio codes (google it) for £15 and it worked fine. Martin
