If the smoke is blue and coming out of the tail-pipe, the engine is burning oil. Usually this is caused by worn piston rings and an overhaul may be necessary. If the smoke is blue and coming from under the hood, you probably have a bad valve cover gasket that is leaking oil onto the exhaust manifold or pipe. Replacement of the valve cover gasket will cure this. Good luck, hope it's not blue smoke coming out of the tail-pipe. Intake manifold gaskets are very common and expensive if put off.-BClear.
